March 7th meeting with the North Beach C.A

We agreed in the following:
1) 60 day trial period to commence tentatively May 1st. Automatic 60 day extension if no problems to maintain continuity while permanent plans are implemented.

2) Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri 5 pm - 7 pm. Sat & Sun 7 am - 10 am.

3) Temporary signage to be posted with open hours, changed to closed during off hours. Signage will include contact info for problems, suggestions, etc. Also dates of trial period.

4) Closed on major holidays.

5) Waiver of liability to include N Beach Association.

6) Representatives from DBOH will attend monthly North Beach meetings. As issues or problems arise, we will communicate and attempt to resolve. All problems and complaints will be documented.

7) Dogs will be checked for county tag. Dog owners will be handed a list of rules along with signing waiver of liability. Unneutered male dogs will pay a higher rate and be provided info on neutering. Information on obedience training will also be available.

8) Beach will be enforced by "official" personnel. Problems outside of dog beach hours will be addressed as in the past, notification to lifeguards, police, etc.

9) Location is Custer St to Pershing St (one block south of Meade)

10) Failure to pick up pet waste will result in fines.

11) Dogs must be on leash to and from car to beach.
