Beach of Hollywood Update THANK YOU!!! The turnout at today's Commission meeting was truly wonderful. For those that don't know yet, the motion to approve a 60 day trial dog beach between Custer and Pershing passed unanimously! The trial period will start August 31st. I will send out more details in the next day or two. Now would be a great time to thank the Mayor and Commissioners for their support. Please go to our website at www.dboh.org and click on the flashing envelope on the left side of the page. Follow the instructions except for the part about copying the suggested text. Instead, if you feel it is appropriate, please express your thanks for their support. The success or failure of the trial run will depend on you. Everyone who supports Dog Beach should consider it his or her personal mission to make this trial run smoothly. Make sure you do not take your dogs to North Beach outside of Dog Beach hours and make sure you wait until the trial period starts. We want Dog Beach to be an asset to our community! I will be scheduling a meeting in the next week or so for all Dog Beach supporters. This will be the time to organize volunteers to make our trial successful. More details to follow.
