Beach of Hollywood Update YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! HOW TO HELP: 1) We need your support at the Commission meeting on Wednesday July
18th at 5:30 pm. Spread the word and bring fellow supporters. We have
a flyer on the website that you can download and print: http://www.dboh.org/flyer_sm.jpg
If for some reason that link doesn't take you to it, go directly to our
home page at www.dboh.org and you'll find it there. Please print, copy,
and distribute at the dog parks, to other dog walkers you see, at local
veterinarians, and so forth. 2) We need speakers at the Commission meeting. You do not need to be a Hollywood resident to speak. You will have three minutes to say why you are in favor of a dog beach. We need some variety in reasons, not everybody saying the same things. Please call me to discuss if you are willing to speak: (954)920-5209 (Lisa). We also need a couple of volunteers to read letters of support that I have into the record. Let me know if you are willing to do this. 3) We need a volunteer or two to help us out with some photography this weekend. Please contact Monika Stefaniak ASAP at (954)260-4304 and she will provide the details. 4) If you can't attend the Commission meeting, please call, fax, or email your Commissioner and tell them that you can't be there, but you are expressing your support for the trial run. We will also be distributing t-shirts prior to the meeting. We need a volunteer to arrive by 4:30 pm to help us with that.
