Beach of Hollywood Update We met with the City Manager and the new Director of Parks and Recreation today. It was a positive meeting, and City personnel have been open-minded and willing to listen to us. We will be on the agenda for discussion either July 3rd or July 18th. Between now and then, we will be working with the City on the details of the pilot program, so that if the trial is approved we can have a start date shortly thereafter. Again, a few points need to be emphasized: 1) This is a 60 day trial run . 2) The exact location and hours are still under discussion 3) This will be fully funded by DBOH.
We also spoke to the Hollywood Hills Civic Association, and appreciate the opportunity to share our proposal and hear their concerns.
