To all dog beach supporters,
We have heard that a group of North Beach residents will be coming to the hearing fully prepared with pictures of dog waste left behind. They are prepared to voice strong opinions & are willing to go to great lengths to put up a greater fight.
I ask that we don't under estimate our opposition. I ask that you make great effort to attend the hearing & support DBOH. We realize that the time is not convenient, but this is perhaps the most crucial hearing, since the future of the dog beach will be determined on Wednesday. For those who will be attending, please make sure to pick up a T-shirt at the entrance & wear it during the hearing.

If you can not attend the hearing, I ask that you e-mail a letter in support, expressing your appreciation, gratitude, and/or suggestions. Please e-mail the letter by Tuesday morning, to the following e-mail addresses: rossoss@aol.com. your e-mail will be posted in our website & will be sent to Mayor Bober & all commissioners
Lastly, I ask all dog beach lovers, to become ambassadors of the dog beach. Most of you are responsible people, but there seems to be a handful of people who don't feel the need to pick up after their dogs along Surf road & in the parking area. Some are dog beach visitors & others, are people who walk with their dogs along Surf road. We must take pride in ownership & be vigilant of all those who neglect to pick up & of those who litter in this area. The amount of trash that is left behind in this area every weekend, is unacceptable. We must give back to our community! If you observe anyone violating this rule, encourage them to pick up & do your share to ensure that the dog beach becomes a permanent landmark in Hollywood & the cleanest section of the beach.
